Painting 101 With A Twist Masterclass

In this masterclass, Lynn Garcia will take you on a journey that will unleash your inner artist, providing an introduction to the materials and techniques used in acrylic painting. Students will be re-creating a pre-painted portrait of the Tibetan Goddess Green Tara. Students will be drawing out the subject, learn the fundamentals of color mixing and pigment choice, and develop brush-handling techniques.
 
By the end of the class, you'll have created your very own painting you can hang with pride, and a solid foundation of painting knowledge, making the transition into more challenging subjects or mediums much easier.
 
P.S. Feel free to bring a cup of wine (For my 18+ ladies) or your favorite drink to add a "twist" and enjoy the process just a bit more ;)
 
Who is Lynn Garcia?
Lynn Garcia is a Miami-Based Artist/Designer/Muralist. Lynn graduated and received a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Miami in 2009. She has over 15 plus years’ experience in the arts and has participated in creating murals with renowned street and graffiti artists since 2011. She had her first solo exhibition Off the Wall in 2019, commissioned to do custom artwork by Fandom and Takis Chips in 2020, donated art for PACE Center for Girls in 2015, and the Hispanic National Bar Association's Florida 2nd Annual Human Trafficking Conference in 2012.
