Creative Writing Circle

Have you ever thought about writing a book? 

Whether you have an idea that has stayed with you for years but just never got down to writing it down or you have officially decided to write a book but have no idea what to write about. 

During this class, we will have some writing prompts that will get the ideas flowing and have you writing/typing the idea of your book on paper. 

Afterward, we shall have a sharing circle where each person can share their book idea (or what they have written today) with the sisters.

Every story & idea shared within this circle will be kept confidential and shall only be used by the writer sharing it. During the sharing portion of this gathering, each sister gets to practice asking for what they want. Do you want only positive comments? Do you want the writer's feedback or critiquing of your response to the prompt? 

As fellow writers ourselves, we have noticed many sisters wish to write a book but that life constantly gets in the way. Tonight will be a BETA test to see how many sisters are truly committed to expressing themselves through book writing. Depending on how many sisters show interest, we hope to create a future writing circle where we gather in the mornings, motivate each other, and share the progress of our creation(s).
